Brisbane is full of things to do for every type of traveler, from young, single adults to families to older couples. Staying in North Brisbane is a great option for those who want to experience the city, but also want to enjoy the nature that the Moreton Bay area has to offer. Accommodations and food in the northern suburbs are also more affordable, which allows you to save money while still having a great vacation. Here are our picks for things to do in North Brisbane.

Sutton’s Beach & Queen’s Beach

If you want to spend a day relaxing by the water, head over to Redcliffe, located at the southern end of Moreton Bay, just north of Brisbane. These beaches feature beautiful, clean water and sand, and are quieter than many of the beaches located closer to downtown, which attract many tourists. Sutton’s Beach (Marine Parade) is paticularly good for kids, because it is patrolled by lifeguards, while Queens’s Beach (Queens Beach Esp) is more open and makes a great place to relax.
